HAVZa & SIMMOS

Where: Rottnest Island

When: 2024

Size: 40 sqm

Havza : translation in Turkish "Basin"

Work Shop Dine was tasked with creating a space to combine contemporary Mediterranean cuisine & their seaside dining experience with a showcase of Western Australian fresh produce and easy lifestyle.

Directly referencing the native bush landscape surrounding

The Basin beach, the design is all about honest, raw organic textural touches. With a focus on sustainable origins, the rough timber cladding comes from the client's family mill, previously being farm fence posts.
